Having grown up in a happy family from California, Dr. Brian T. Nguyen has dedicated his career to exploring the factors contributing to the formation of happy families. After receiving his Bachelor’s in Human Biology and Master’s in Sociology at Stanford University, he attended Brown University for Medical School, after all of which, he decided that family planning, family dinner, and family-focused fathers played enormous roles in his success. He has subsequently published on the phenomenon of men buying emergency contraception for women and the need for equal vasectomy access. He hopes to continue research that creates a positive role for men in women’s health. Dr. Nguyen enjoys cooking as a means of bringing people together and sharing familiar stories and family values.
