Medical Treatment: Taking into consideration the examination, imaging, impressions, fitting, follow-up visits, laboratory fee and appliance itself, occlusal splints can cost thousands of dollars. Dental insurance often does not cover this type of treatment. However, medical insurance, depends of the policy, may cover it.
