Tinnitus: The question is, how long have you experienced TMJ problems and how long have you had tinnitus. If your tinnitus is a result of TMJ dysfunction, then it may take much longer than two weeks to resolve. However, since tinnitus is not a disease, it may not resolve at all. You should see an ENT specialist to investigate other possible causes of the tinnitus.

Tinnitus: Trying to deal with tinnitus can be frustrating. If your tinnitus is a symptom of an underlying medical condition, the first step is to treat that condition. It may or may not be related to tmjoint dysfunction. Sometimes, tinnitus goes away spontaneously, without any intervention at all. It should be understood, however, that not all tinnitus can be eliminated or reduced, no matter the cause.

Depends: Depends. The tinnitus if TMJ related should improve as the TMJ symptoms improve. TMJ tinnitus is usally not prominent. If prominent see ENT doc.
