Occlusal guard: Exercises, analgesics, muscle relaxants, hot and cold compresses are all good. You should seek a specialist in TMJ ( Prosthodontist). I find that an occlusal guard custom made by a dental specialist usually helps a lot and cut on the amount of medication you need.
