A member asked:

I had a tubal pregnancy and they had to remove my right tube. how can i find out if i can still conceive with the other tube.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HSG: There is a test known as a hystersalpingogram in which dye is injected through the cervix and a series of x-Rays are done to show whether the tube is open. You can see on x-ray if the dye comes out the tube. This will tell you if you have an open tube but the only way to know for sure that you can get pregnant is by trying. An open tube is only 1 of the things that is necessary.Hope this helps.
