Tooth eruption: Tooth eruption is genetically determined, and there is a very wide range of patterns. It's OK, since you really cannot do anything to speed things along. I have observed that when primary teeth take a while to erupt, the secondary teeth also come in late.

Delayed eruption: Not abnormal, some children will get their teeth earlier while others later. It is normal. When children's teeth come in later than average, it is called delayed tooth eruption. If concerned see a pedodontist, dentist for kids. Good luck.
