Cystitis: Leukocytes are our body's defense mechanism of fighting bacteria or virus. There is a reaction occurring in the bladder for some reason (and sometimes without symptoms). If your UA shows high specific gravity (>1.025), then you may need to increase fluids in your diet. Then, periodically recheck with UA test strips. If persistent leukocytes, you may need to undergo a cystoscopy.
