Possible UTI: Majority of UTIs are nitrite positive, however UTIs from so called "gram negative" bacteria such as enterococcus, staphylococcus, streptococcus are usually nitrite negative at urinalysis. These bacteria can be seen on microscopy & grown on bacterial culture. My advice is to get your urine cultured & have your primary care health provider prescribe some antibiotics. Good luck.
