Peritonsillar: abscess can become quite serious as it can enlarge and impact airway. If you have an actual abscess would recommend medical evaluation.

I get frequent tonsilitis. Right now i dont have tonsilitis but my tonsils are not the same size. No other symptoms other than tonsil stones. Should i be worried for tonsil cancer?
I had a tonsillotomy 6 weeks ago for tonsil stones. I caught flu 2 weeks later, which caused an ear infection with severe pain and deafness. 3 weeks later I can't hear in 1 ear and now have tonsillitis - tonsils have grown back. No ABs prescribed.
Symptoms: Cough, Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Green Mucus, Holes in tonsils, Vomitting. What could this be? My boyfriend believes they are tonsil stones, but he hasn't had the symptoms and he doesn't want to go to the doctor. I believe it's tonsillitis.
What would one or two white spots on your tonsils mean? Would it be tonsilitis, thrush, or tonsil stones? They clear up and come back.
