Dental anesthesia: Dental anesthesiologists working in a dental office do this day in and out. Best option if it were my child.

Specialist: Find a Pedodontist (children's dentist) who provides regular treatment in the hospital operating room. Have child examined by them and consider your options. Very important to see the specialist with this training. Good Luck.

IV sedation with: an anesthesiologist with the dental treatment being done by another doctor who is a pediatric dentist. If the child has medical issues that do not allow for safe in-office treatment, then go to hospital. Oral sedation is the least predictable and I would suggest avoiding it.
