Depends: The answer may depend on the area where you live & what dental professionals are there. The extent of your problems sounds more appropriate for a prosthedontist but that specialist may require a preliminary evaluation & referral from a general dentist 1st , & a good general dentist can surely point you in the right direction.

Extensive treatment : It sounds like you will need extensive dental treatment. Many times this means working with multiple dental specialists during your treatment. The first step would be a comprehensive exam to establish a treatment plan that meets your goals. If you have a general dentist you can start in this office. They may refer you to a periodontist, oral surgeon or prosthodontist.

Complex: You seem to have a complex set of problems requiring coordinated multi-disciplinary treatment. Generally the General Dentist stages treatment, but in your case your General Den test many suggest that a Prosthodontist be the quarterback. You want a functional, stable, esthetic result. Other specialists, such as Periodontist, will be bright in a s indicated.
