Cheek pain after a dental procedure can last a few days. That said, contact your dentist to discuss your symptoms. Your dentist will be able to advise you more on what to expect given the procedure and where the injections were done.

Some pain is normal from injections, but you didn't complain about teeth hurting afterwards. The cheek pain is from the mirror pulling away your cheek in order have room in your mouth to see and fill your teeth. Opening wide also causes discomfort to cheek. Place warm to hot compress over area and pain will diminish in a few days.

Most Dental procedures are surgical, including the administration of anesthesia, removing diseased tissues, reshaping and repairing healthy tissues, stretching/manipulating/applying pressure to soft tissues.Healing can be rapid or prolonged. Speak to her Dentist for post-surgical support.
