Complications: Complications of diabetes include cataracts, heart attacks, loss of sensation in nerves, kidney failure.... It's very simple...: It's very simple: people with diabetes who make poor food choices generally gain weight, have poorer glucose control, ignore other aspects of their diabetes and overall health, feel terrible, have lousy lives, require more medication, have earlier and more severe diabetes complications, and die early. Do you need any other inducement to talking better care of yourself?
