Low carbohyrate food: Anyone who is at risk for developing diabetes should follow a healthy diet low in carbohydrates, fat, and calories. This will help promote weight loss that will also help prevent diabetes. Foods high in carbohydrates to avoid would include many processed foods, breads, pastas, many sweets, etc. I recommend that diabetics or those at risk pay close attention to food labels.
