High index block: Be certain to use an spf of 100+ (like neutragena helioplex). Cover all exposed areas, and repeat applications every 3-4 hours minimum. Wearing sun protective lightweight shirts, etc to cover exposed areas, and broadbrim hat to screen some sun. It is not enough to just put some on in am....It will be lost with sweating/wiping etc.

Sunscreen: Sunscreen is the answer. Get a sunscreen at least spf 30 and make sure it covers uva and uvb light. Also apply it every two to three hours during the day. Also use hats or caps.
