Fatty tumors: Or lipomas can be painful or tender. But how can you be sure it is a lipoma? It could be another kind of tumor, say of a nerve, such as neurolemmoma. Or it could be a hernia. Sometimes its difficult to tell. If symptoms are getting worse or the mass is enlarging, time to see a doctor.

See your doctor: It sounds as if you have a lipoma? These can painfull and surgery can help. See your doctor for an exam.
