A special case...: It's a special case when a patient is diagnosed with anxiety and convinced that he has everything that can be wrong. In such a case, the patient should get information from a single, trusted primary care doctor. If the patient gets additional ideas of other possible but unlikely diseases, then the patient will have many many more things to be anxious about (more info can lead to worse anxiety).

If sxs r new see PCP: If your back pain, rib cage pain and your ribs sticking out are all a recent occurrence, see your primary care physician (pcp) for an evaluation to determine the cause of this. However, anxiety can present with a lot of aches and pain especially if there is constant worry.
