Swollen lips! it seems when i eat acidic foods my lips swell! this is the worst and they are crazy painful! what can i do to help pain/swelling?

Allergic?: You may be allergic to citrus fruits. Take some benedryl and either avoid those foods and liquids in the future or see an allergist to find out what foods you may be allergic to.

Simple Things First: Try taking a antihistamine (benadryl, clairitin), if you have no contraindications to those meds, or drug-drug interactions. If either of those meds help, could be an allergic rxn. You could also be sensitive to high concentrations of acidic foods. Could be more to it than that, but i would start with the simple answers, then move from there to more exotic possibilities. Best of luck to you!
