I have developed a very swollen bottom lip. not sure if allergic reaction or bite. i have taken tellerge 180 mg over an hour ago? no change. can i take celestamine as well? what else can i do to reduce swelling. it is quite painful.

Angioedema: The commonest cause of swelling of the lip in the absence of trauma or infection is an allergic reaction. You have already taken an antihistamine. Celestamine contains antihistamine but also has a cortisone like substance which may be helpful. Applying a cold compress may also help. Angioedema usually subsides within 24 hours.
