Blocked gland: Most common would be a chalazion, which is an eyelid gland that gets blocked and then infected. Use moist heat to try and bring it to a head. If not getting better, go see your eye doctor to get it treated.

Infection: This is an infection, likely a stye or preseptal cellulitis. See an ophthalmologist for treatment.
