My right occipital node is swollen and very painful. my entire head aches. the swelling occurred within one day. i'm fatigued and a bit blurry eyed.

Did u have a recent: cold? Or allergies? Lymph nodes tend to get swollen or tender whenever there is some form of immune challenge as above, usually not by themselves. See your doctor to have it evaluated fully, and they can do a head, eyes, ear, nose, throat exam to see what might be causing it, and treat it quickly. This can cause fatigue, and may or may not be related to your eye/vision issues.

Lymphnode enlargement may be secondary to infection in the related body part what we call in its draining territory or primary pathology might be from the node itself. Have it examined by a physician
