Maybe too much carb?: What you eat determines your metabolism. Therefore even on a vegan diet (which i'm following mostly as well), you have to make sure you're getting enough protein (8-10 oz./day) and not taking in too many carbs (less than 50g if you want to lose weight). This is challenging on the vegan diet but possible. Got to read labels and use higher fiber, lower sugar/starch contents and protein powders.
