How soon will amoxicillin alleviate ear infection symptoms in 2 year old?

Depends on variables: The fever if present should respond within 48 hrs. Other issues such as ear pressure, congestion & drainage may take longer.Fluid that builds up behind the ear drum as part of the process can remain for weeks.
