My 35 pound 3 year old daughter was prescribed a amoxicillin oral suspension at 400 mg/5 ml for a dose of 8 ml twice a day but it was for a suspected ear infection is the dosage ok for that as well?

If her doctor prescribed this dose, why would you question whether it's safe? Of course it is. (It's almost impossible to overdose on amoxicillin.) Ask the doctor if you remain concerned.
