One good surgeon: You are correct that your revision rhinoplasty should be the last operation performed on your nose. That said, because of prior changes and subsequent scarring, the results of revision rhinoplasty are less predictable. It's not the number of surgeons you see, it's finding the right one. Your best bet is an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who is a board certified facial plastic or plastic surgeon.

Till comfortable: Get opinions until you are comfortable with the revision rhinoplasty surgeon you choose. You will probably know early in your consultation if you and the surgeon are on the same page and develop a good working relationship. Make sure they are experienced in revision surgery as it is more complex than primary rhinoplasty in most cases!

Who to choose?: When considering plastic surgery, find a board certified plastic surgeon who does at least 100 of these procedures per year. Also, be sure to check the before and after photo gallery for the procedure(s) interested in on the surgeon's website.
