This : This is a good question. It is important to look for a well reputed surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty and secondary rhinoplasty (revision). It is also important to review pre- and post-operative cases with your physician as well. Sometimes physicians will also have previous patients who are willing to take calls from prospective patients as well. All in all, take your time and obtain a few opinions to afford yourself the most comprehensive decision in your choice. Be healthy and be well, james m. Ridgway, md.

To : To select a good revision rhinoplasty surgeon to help fix your nasal problems you should find a surgeon who has experience with doing revision rhinoplasty work. Look at his or her before and after photos to make sure you like the results. The : The most difficult thing for any patient is selecting their rhinoplasty surgeon, especially a revision specialist. Besides selecting a board certified surgeon look at their results in noses like yours. You can also ask to talk to some of their previous patients.

Revision Rhino: There is no way to guarantee that a revision rhinoplasty will turn out good. It is a difficult procedure and outcome can be unpredictable. You best option is to do a lot of research and then go to a surgeon known for revision rhinoplasty.

Rhinoplasties: Have a 1/10 revision rate in the best of hands. Hopefully you did your homework before your first surgery and researched a doc that was good. If so....Give him/her a shot.
