Dr told me alt lowers pressure in eye a little more than slt. has that been your experience?

Sometimes: The two types of laser treatments for open angle glaucoma lower iop similarly. Depending on certain features of one's eye (ie pigment) alt has worked a bit better in more pigmented eyes. I don't find the iop reduction to be generally much different. I do like the repeatability of slt over alt in patients who have good initial responses.

No personal experience: It is my understanding that the procedures are relatively similar with some professionals preferring alt to a slight preference. As an orthopedic spine surgeon I do not have personal experience with use in the eye.
