Yes & no: They do help 4 structural problems or pressure areas. If there is not a diagnosis it can b hit & miss. When u get custom inserts they should b comfy right away. Go back to the orthotics provider & tell them they r not right. U pay good $ 4 them and they should adjusted 2 help u with ur problem. B insistent & persistent.

There is a : "break in period" which you should of been instructed about. Generally speaking, i inform patients to wear them an hour the first day and double the time each successive day. There may be uncomfortablility but there should not be pain...If painful, consult with your dispensing physician.....

Orthotics: Yes they do , but they should not hurt. It does take time to adjust to them but again pain is not part of the adjustment. See the dispensing physician , .
