Drop foot: Great question.....And the answer is alot more than, i can answer here. Drop foot is usually caused by nerve damage to the lower extremity, by trauma or medical conditions.... And, treatment varies depending on the extent of the damage. Neurolysis, braces, reconstructive surgery...And so on... See someone and get the evaluation process started....Only then.Can you be on the right path.

See Orthotist: New materials that are lighter and thinner can be made to support drop foot. For example, carbon fiber braces can be thin, strong, and light. The braces can be hinged to create active spring effect when walking to help aid patients with drop foot. See foot specialist or prothetic/orthotist for help.
