Hi, i am having pain with my left foot on the joint of my 2nd toe where my toe meets my foot. by the end of the day i can hardly walk. i wear orthotics, but had been wearing hiking sandals for a while because it is so hot out. my pain is causing me to limp and then its a ripple effect to making my back hurt etc. foot pain?

Urgent Care: I would suggest a Podiatry and Urgent Care appointment. From your description, a fracture is possible. Avoid stress on the area, local ice and elevate the foot. Motrin may be used for pain. The Podiatrist will assess your footwear.
