A member asked:

I'm experiencing intermittent sharp pains in my left upper chest when i jog. not wheezing. could this be from my heart? 44 yo healthy female

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sharp pain: Sharp pains are less likely heart related especially if brief. Although, association with jogging sounds "worrisome", there are other reasons for chest pain other than cardiac. Musculoskeletal issues are the first to consider. However, if you are known to have risk factors for heart issues not related here, you will need to discuss those with your doc.
