What is the best medication out there at the current time for fibromyalgia?

Several: There are several treatments now available for fibromyalgia. Two of the best in my opinion are Cymbalta and lyrica (pregabalin). Talk to your doctor, and get a pain management consult if you need one. No one should have to suffer! =).

I agree with: The listed medications. Up to 70% of those with fibromyalgia have insomnia and have increased muscle tone at night. Also, many have teeth clinching (sleep related bruxism). Within a well designed regimen, Clonazepam at night can help the insomnia and muscle tone and can be an important part of the regimen. Must treat concominant anxiety, may consider modafanil in the morning, it's off label.
