One thing that: Might help would be a nasal steroid like Flonase at night. You post nasal drip will go into the back of the throat and give some relief there. The eustachion tubes also drain into the back of the throat and that side might be inflamed not allowing drainage of the middle ear. Did the doctor offer to biopsy a lymph node? The ct isn't bad idea, don't know why the neurologist, it sounds head, neck p.

Lymphadenitis: Enlarged lymph nodes in anyone over the age of 40 must be taken seriously. I would recommend a ct scan of the neck and a fine needle aspiration bioosy if the lymph nodes have been enlarged greater than 11 mm for a month, and have not responded to a course of antibiotics.

See a Dentist: If there's a periodontal infection, it can drain into the lymph nodes and can cause lymphadenopathy. It must be a lower posterior tooth/teeth. If it is negative, please go back to see an md.
