Ok to wait: Are your symptoms in general more prominent at night? Do you suffer from allergies? The ENT exam should help in clarifying some of the questions.

Probably next week: is ok but I would not wait any longer because of getting acute middle ear infection turning to a chroinic one from the blockage of the Eustachian tube by the swollen tonsil. Good luck !
