Weightloss: The best way is diet and exercise. No procedure aside from bariatric surgery is designed to lose weight. That being said you can contour the area with liposuction.

Diet and Exercise: Hate to sound like a broken record, but the best way to lose a few pounds is with diet and excercise. If your weight is stable, the fat is disproportionate, and the skin is tight, liposuction can help. If the skin is loose, losing weight or liposuction will not often help shrink the skin. This is when a tummy tuck is beneficial.

Diet first lipo next: Fat is light and few pounds is lot of volume. Your best result comes when you are at your ideal weight and get liposuction for just the fat that is still there despite dieting and exercising. Liposuction alone is not an answer for weight loss.

Eat less, exercise: Eat less and exercise more. A tummy tuck is not a weight loss procedure anyway.

Other options: In addition to diet and exercise already mentioned, you could also consider non-surgical solutions like coolsculpting or liposonix.

There's no such : Thing as natural spot fat loss. You need to lose weight in general ; a certain % will be abdominal fat. Eat healthfully ; be physically active. Calories burned must > calories consumed. To tighten ab's do crunches, reverse crunches, exercise ball crunches, pelvic thrusts, lying leg raises, side bridge ; “bicycling” exercise on your back. Engage in regular aerobic exercise.
