A member asked:

My shrink won't tell me what my diagnosis is because she thinks it would have a negative effect on me. do you think this is a good bias?

Disagreement vs bias: If you are really 18 or older, you should talk to your psychiatrist ("shrink") and ask what your rights are regarding your knowing about your mental health. You may also ask to talk to the office manager or your state medical board. If you are under 18, then you need to talk to your parent or legal guardian. If you life in a hospital or group home, talk to your case worker. I don't see a bias.
