My three yr old daughter has a knot on her shin. took her to er n doctor said ahead bumped it that the knot would go away. 1 month n still their?

Is it smaller?: Without examining the knot it is impossible to know what it is. Is it hard or soft, tender or not? Assuming the knot is from a bruise to the shin, then the knot is probably a hematoma, (collection of blood), and it should get smaller over time. The larger it is, the longer it takes. If it hasn't gotten smaller in 1 month, then i would take her to her pediatrician or family doc to re-evaluate.
