About

Bio

I am excited to help patients virtually with HealthTap. I’ve practiced family medicine since 1995 and went into that field because I believe that a personal physician who knows you is able to provide better care. I take time to listen to my patients because I believe the most important information doesn't come from a physical exam, but from a good history. One thing that gives me a personal sense of purpose is relieving suffering. I feel a sense of purpose in helping others, both locally and globally. I have been involved with disaster relief since 1992, and I have worked in numerous refugee camps. I am married, have a goofy Rottweiler named Molly, and I enjoy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I’m also a Certified Ringside Physician, keeping fighters as safe as possible and treating their injuries.
