Hard Q: 5th metatarsal bone fracture can be very simple, or a very complicated fracture... Without seeing the xray it is hard to answer your question. In general we think that fracture healing time should take about 6 weeks. If you are not significantly improved by that time, something is not quite right... Talk to your doctor about the options and/or seek a 2nd opinion.
