Not fractured?: What happened? If it is a stress fracture then it is fractured. It will take 8-16 weeks to heal. Sounds like you need to be reevaluated. See your doctor (Foot Doctor).

Depends on cause: There are many reasons why a second metatarsal can hurt. How do you know for sure it is not fractured? It could be related to the type of shoe, your activity level, do you work out at a gym? how was it originally injured?Could also be related to flat feet or a very high arch. how old is the original x-ray? You may need another x-ray or even an MRI. A podiatrist should be able to sort this out

Metatarsalgia.: What happened almost three months ago that causes your foot to hurt? Why would you expect it not to be hurt or fractured? The healing time can vary with the conditions that are causing the pain. Give us just a little more detail.
