Yes: Although it is not a very good option, it is possible. The long term prognosis is not very good. Partial dentures can also damage other teeth, gums and supporting structures. They are ok for a short term option, but not long term.

Sure: But most people find that a partial denture to replace a single tooth is very cumbersome.

Yes: Typically, patients do not wear their partial denture with only one tooth unless it is a front tooth. Too much material to bother with is usually the reason they give. Tne implant is the best treatment if you are a candidate.

Yes: Partial dentures can be made to replace any number of teeth. In terms of a naturally "feeling" tooth replacement, they are low on the list given that they are removable and bulky compared to an implant or fixed bridge.

Your choice: Both choices will replace a missing tooth. When it comes down to it, most people are only considering other options from an implant due to cost. An implant will be far more comfortable, natural looking, natural feeling and much longer lasting. It will in turn cost more than a partial denture which is bulky with extra metal or acrylic in the mouth, not very comfortable and won't last. Your choice.
