Dental implants.: One way to do it as there are many, with a well fitting denture, conventional implants may be placed and "burried" under the gums for 3 to 6 months to heal. When integrated with your bone, attachments are fixed in the dental office to the implants, as well as in your denture allowing them to attach, or snap togeather, taking pressure off your bone and gums, and making denture much more stable.

Retrofit synopsis: Current denture examined carefully for ideal functioning before implants. The bone quality and health history of the patient is examined and then implants are placed. The upper jaw requires more time than the lower for the implants to be stable. 5-6 months for the upper, 3-4 for the lower as a guideline. Parts are ordered to connect the denture to the implants. More detail needs to be provided.
