Normal clot: As a blood clot matures the surface becomes white in color. This is normal. The white coloring is fibrin which is part of the healing process. Unless you have swelling and the white color you see is a liquid that is yellow/white in color with foul smell and taste then it is most likely not pus. If you are on antibiotics then this is unlikely also. See your dentist if you are concerned though

Dental Bone Graft: A Dental bone graft is the surgical procedure where an area of the jaw is "built up" or reconstructed using a portion of your own bone from another site, tissue banked human bone, xenograft (usually bovine derived), synthetic bone or rhBMP which is a protien that "tell" you body to grow bone. All types have there own pros and cons

Possible infection: See your dentist. IF you are begining to get swelling then the decay might have been close to the pulp of the tooth. If not then the filling still may be "high" and require some more adjustment the tooth is inflamed. Make sure to have your dentist check the tooth again for you
