Antibiotics: Periodontal infection can cause toothache and if there's no pulp involvement, scaling and root planing can reverse the toothache. If the nerve inside the tooth is dying or already abscessed, you can take some antibiotics except tetracycline. If you are already in your third trimester, the canal can be accessed to release the pressure but not the full rct.

Acetaminophen: You really should see a dentist and your physician. While dental pain is bad in itself, you don't want an infection to affect your pregnancy. Acetaminophen is "safe, " but you should first consult your physician. As for the dental pain/infection, do not wait to seek treatment as the problem will only get worse.

See your dentist: You can not put your baby at risk, call the dentist if you have an infection you need antibiotics and pain killers won't work in this case. It is safe to see the dentist and get x-rays while your are pregnant.
