Both serious: Maxillary infection can easily spread into your sinus, mandibular infection can spread down your throat. Bad taste means bacterial toxins and acid... A warning sign you need to address this asap. No pain now, but when it starts, you won't be able to get to a dentist fast enough. Call for an appointment to be evaluated and treated.

Both: Doesn't matter the location of an infection, needs immediate attention. This will not self-correct, self-heal. Please seek dental care asap before infection spreads and farther. Any infection involving your airway can be life threatening. Oh, and by the way, you don't want to wait for this to vibe come painful, and it will, at the most inconvenient time.
