Infection needs care: If the blister is due to an infected baby tooth the parulus or site of draining shows the dentist where the infection is coming from and must be eliminated. Many times the permanent tooth crown is fully formed and really will not be damaged but the infection and bone loss alone points to the need for a pulp treatment of the baby tooth or in many cases its extraction.
