I take ofloxacin 200 mg for teeth n gum infection , is it ok?

Not the best: It is always best to see a dentist and determine what is going on and get a perscription for the most appropriate antibiotic and not use something that you had leftover from another infection in a different part of your body. This is not the drug of choice to treat an oral infection. It will not cure your infection. You need dental treatment now.

NO!: To my knowledge, Ofloxacin is rarely used anymore. The fda website lists it as being discontinued although generic use continues. You will probably do more harm than good trying to treat yourself, especially with an inappropriate antibiotic and not resolving the cause of the infection. Be smart and see a dentist asap.

See a dentist ASAP: any other treatment is a temporary relief. A gum infection won't go away without treatment. If not treated properly, the infection may spread to cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head fast. See your dentist ASAP.
