No: You can create a lot more damage trying to pop an abscess yourself! see your dentist as the abscess will not go away until the infected tooth is treated with a root canal or extraction. If drainage is needed, your dentist will know the proper procedure.

NO: Best to be seen and treated by a dentist or oral surgeon to avoid further problems / infections.

Not really: Popping it will not make the infection go away. Go to a dentist.

No. Who diagnosed the lesion as an abscess? Self diagnosis can be very risky. An abscess is in infection, and only treating the cause of the infection will result in cure. Please do not do harm to yourself. Infections can be quite dangerous. See your Dentist for knowledgeable diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

I won't heal the infected tooth, so don't bother. See a dentist to determine the cause and appropriate care.
