Challenging..: It is the nature of the beast when it comes to hidradenitis. There are various ways to management from topical to oral - and even immune mediated therapies. There are period where things will be under control then flare up can happen without warning. A close relationship with your dermatologist is important to deal with these flare ups. Best of luck!
