Infection: See if your doctor can prescribe you anti biotic and anti inflammatory meds, and have a dentists exam to determine if the tooth worth saving and do root canal or extractions

Diagnose it.: Seek professional diagnosis and treatment to treat the cause of the abscess. Must distinguish whether the abscess is endodontal abscess or periodontal abscess. Periodontal abscess is much harder to treat but less painful.
